Research Interest #
My research is in discrete differential geometry (DDG), which aims to identify structure-preserving discretizations of the smooth theory. Specifically, I study discrete conformal equivalence theories, circle packings/patterns, and their relationship to the rigidity theory of polyhedra, hyperbolic geometry, and low-dimensional topology.
A recurring theme in my research is the use of methods amenable to numerical implementation, paving the way for mathematical experiments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
